Communicating in a relationship

My personal anecdote: in my younger years I had relationship problems, as every relationship sometimes has. But we were both still so inexperienced in being in a relationship, communicating, and expressing feelings that there was no progress. The relationship actually only worsened, and the fact that we both came from families where problems are bottled up rather than expressed didn’t help either. Until we started going to clubs a little more and using XTC. Without joking, I still get goosebumps writing it down, but the relationship issues were expressed in the smoking room. Without shame for feelings, without judgment for what the other says, but listening to each other with total respect and daring to express what you feel, and also really understanding what you feel, for the first time being able to put into words what you think, feel and want. And then these were just two young people daring to speak out and listen. It is impossible to imagine what psychedelics can do to you under the right guidance!
